Starting from a childhood photograph of a Kapla construction, the project rebuilds the structure in Rhino and explores whether an imagined hotel in a Dutch forest can be brought to life.
During a five-month internship at De Zwarte Hond, I worked across several projects, including modelling this housing development in ArchiCAD and rendering it in Enscape, alongside research into reducing CO2 emissions in future designs.
I'm Victor, an architecture student based in Groningen. I'm completing a Bachelor's in Built Environment at Hanze University, with minors in Architectural Design and Business Management.
In 2024 I spent five months at De Zwarte Hond, working alongside architects on live projects, from early design studies to detailed project development. During this time, I developed skills in software such as Archicad and Enscape, built physical models, and gained a great deal of hands-on experience in the architectural profession.
Currently, my focus is strongly centered on working with Rhino and exploring how we can design the homes of the future.
